Why should I report my symptoms to CovMap rather than other symptom tracking sites/apps?

Other symptom tracker services either keep their data private so users can't actually track symptom cases themselves or they provide maps that don't reveal much information at all. CovMap lets users track symptom cases with the location-accuracy of a postcode and lets you see the symptoms each person is experiencing. CovMap believes that such data should be available for everyone to see, not just internally available for health companies and governments.

What data do you collect and what do you do with it?

CovMap only collects your postcode and medical symptoms when you submit them. This data is then marked on a map for two weeks for other users to see. After two weeks, your data is removed from the map.
